Artificial Intelligence Lab for Biosciences announced in Netherlands

Delft University of Technology and Royal DSM – a nutrition, health, and sustainable living company – in the Netherlands have announced the establishment of an Artificial Intelligence Lab for Biosciences ( Lab). The lab will be part of the Dutch National Innovation Centre for Artificial Intelligence and will benefit from a 2.5 million euro investment over the first 5 years from DSM. Presented as the first of its kind in Europe, the Lab will apply artificial intelligence to full-scale biomanufacturing, from microbial strain development to process optimisation and scheduling.
