AquaConnect will receive €6 million for developing new water technologies in the Netherlands

AquaConnect consortium led by Prof. Huub Rijnaarts from Wageningen University will receive €4 million from the NWO Perspective programme (the Dutch research council) and €2 million from companies and societal organisations for developing new water technologies. These technologies will focus on reusing wastewater and brackish groundwater and installing smart water grids to link water supply and demands in four regions in the Netherlands.
