Apple releases new privacy pages

Apple refreshed its privacy policy pages (apple.com/privacy) that explain how the company protects users’ privacy. According to the Washington Times, this change is part of Apple’s ongoing push to distinguish itself from advertising-fuelled rivals such as Google and Facebook. If privacy policies are now easier to access and understand, they did not change in substance. The Verge reports that Apple included clear information about its policies on listening to Siri recordings (and how you can delete that information).
