5G expected to bring considerably faster speeds and surprising capabilities

Nokia predicts that 5G, which is expected to come by the end of this decade, will bring not only considerably faster speeds (10 to 100 times faster than 4G), but also surprising capabilities, such as making cars safer to drive, enabling video multi-casting, allowing networked robotic surgical tools to perform more complicated tasks, and enhancing virtual reality experiences. According to Nokia’s CTO, cited by CNN Money, ‘5G will give birth to the next phase of human possibilities, bringing about the automation of everything’.
