The Jordanian Strategy for E-Gaming and E-Sports 2023–2027, developed by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, is a national policy aiming to establish Jordan as a regional and international hub for the e-gaming and e-sports industry. The strategy aligns with Jordan’s Economic Modernisation Vision, aiming to boost the creative industries sector, increase GDP contributions, create jobs, and support digital culture among youth.

Main pillars and initiatives
1. E-Gaming Industry
Focuses on developing game design and development through:
- Legislative reform and incentive provision
- Capacity development via training centers and university programs
- Startup and SME support including incubators and funding access
- Marketing and international expansion through global events
- Awareness campaigns in schools and communities
2. E-Sports Sector
Targets professional and competitive gaming through:
- Strengthening the Jordanian E-Sports Federation
- Training programs for players and coaches
- Establishing dedicated e-sports venues and local/international tournaments
- Promoting positive gaming behaviour and parental awareness
- Creating a national digital platform to register and track players
Implementation and governance
A steering committee led by the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship oversees the strategy, comprising members from key ministries, the Jordanian E-Sports Federation, and industry representatives. This body ensures cross-sectoral coordination and accountability in implementing the strategy.
