The White House announced the upcoming release of the IoT labeling program in Spring 2023, following discussions with private sector and government entities to enhance national cybersecurity for IoT devices.
Following yesterday’s discussions between the private sector, academic institutions, and the U.S. Government concerning the national cybersecurity labeling program for (IoT) devices, the White House announced that the IoT labeling system will roll out in Spring 2023. According to the official announcement, the label system will be similar to the Energy Star scheme but for cyber.
