United Nations Convention on the Use of Electronic Communications in International Contracts

The Convention aims at facilitating the use of electronic communications in international trade and in order to do so it seeks to ensure that contracts concluded and other documents exchanged via electronic means are as valid and enforceable as traditional paper-based alternatives. It entered into force in 2013.
