The EU Cybersecurity Strategy is a key component of the EU’s initiative Shaping Europe’s Digital Future, the Recovery Plan for Europe, and the EU Security Union Strategy. It aims to strengthen Europe’s collective resilience against cyber threats by offering concrete proposals for regulatory, investment and policy initiatives, especially on the following three fronts:

  1. Resilience, technological sovereignty and leadership
  2. Building operational capacity to prevent, deter and respond
  3. Advancing global and open cyberspace through increased cooperation
