Senegalese national cybersecurity strategy (SNC2022)

The National Cybersecurity Strategy 2022 (SNC2022) aligns with SN2025, aiming to evaluate and address current and future cybersecurity threats in Senegal. The strategic vision, “In Senegal in 2022, a cyberspace of confidence, secure and robust for all,” guides the five strategic aims of SNC2022, emphasising legal and institutional strengthening, critical information infrastructure protection, cybersecurity culture promotion, resource enhancement, and active participation in regional and international cybersecurity efforts. Senegal prioritises the rule of law, shared responsibility, a risk-based approach, universal cyberspace access, and stakeholder collaboration. The government will establish a national cybersecurity structure to lead and coordinate initiatives.
