Senegal National Broadband Plan

This strategic document establishes the National Broadband Plan of Senegal, a long-term initiative to promote and coordinate the deployment of quality infrastructure, ensuring access and affordability of broadband/very high-speed services throughout the Senegalese territory. The main objectives of the plan include a comprehensive assessment of existing infrastructure concerning broadband standards, an analysis of the Senegalese regulatory framework linked to broadband/very broadband, the creation of a regulatory framework favourable to broadband/very broadband integration in universal service, and the establishment of conditions conducive to the development of infrastructure, the adoption of services by businesses and the public sector. The plan also proposes an architecture for high/very high-speed networks and indicators to measure progress towards the set objectives.
