Resolutions and Declarations
Resolution 175 was adopted at the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference, which established the Connect 2020 agenda. The resolution mandates ITU to become an accessible organization for persons with disabilities and persons with special needs including age-related disabilities, in order to promote ICT accessibility for everyone. It also encourages the collaboration of persons with disabilities or special needs in the work of ITU. The resolution is based on Article 9 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
