Report of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on E-commerce and the Digital Economy on its first session

The report sets out the agreed policy recommendations of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on E-commerce and the Digital Economy concluded during its first session. Amongst other things it acknowledges that ‘poor logistics remain a barrier to e-commerce in many developing countries’ and emphasises the importance of ‘cross-border data flows in the digital economy’. 

The report also provides a summary of the Group’s meeting including its discussions on several items that featured on the agenda.
