Technical strategies for countering spam (Recommendation no. X.1231)

Recommendation ITU-T X.1231 provides technical strategies for countering various types of spam while also addressing general characteristics of spam and main objectives for countering it.

Recognizing that there is no one answer to the spam problem, this recommendation also includes a checklist to evaluate promising tools for countering spam.
