Online learning and student outcomes in California’s community colleges

The report looks at the effects of online learning and finds that short-term outcomes are worse when compared to face-to-face education. This is not true for long-term results. The report finds that, in the long-term, students who take online classes are more successful in the rest of their education than those who only take traditional courses.
