A report titled ‘A New Circular Vision for Electronics – Time for a Global Reboot’, composed by seven UN entities along with the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, was launched the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. It aims to support international efforts to address e-waste challenges. It discusses e-waste in the context of ‘circular economy’ concept, in which ‘all materials and components are kept at their highest value at all times, and waste is designed out of the system’.
