In this judgement, the European Court of Human Rights ruled against the decision of a Turkish court’s judgment that ordered the blocking of online content. The case was brought forward by a Turkish individual Ahemt Yildirim who was in charge of a website hosted on Google sites service and who claimed violation of his freedom of expression when the jurisdiction decided to block all access to Google sites under the domestic law.
