UN, OSCE, OAS and ACHPR Joint Declaration on the Protection of Freedom of Expression and Diversity in the Digital Terrestial Transition

The Declaration is one of the many international mechanisms that aim to promote the freedom of expression. It brings into focus the general principles of freedom of expression and endorses the promotion of diversity and related goals. In addition, it calls on the states to take into consideration the cost and universal access to digital services so as to reduce the digital divide.
