Principles and Recommendations
The Internet Society’s Public Policy Principles are based on a belief that the Internet is an open and universally accessible platform and that everyone should enjoy the benefits of the Internet. In this regard, the following Public Policy Principles or “Abilities” are identified:
- The Ability to Connect
- The Ability to Speak
- The Ability to Innovate
- The Ability to Share
- The Ability to Choose
- The Ability to Trust
