Facilitating digital inclusion initatives for indigenous peoples

The resolution connects the issue of ICT with indigenous people, and aims to facilitate better digital inclusion of these groups, often in social and economical fringes of society. Therefore, the document requests the Secretary-General to bring the assistance to indigenous people, and resolves to ‘support digital inclusion of indigenous peoples, […] in particular their participation in workshops, seminars, forums and training on information and communication technology (ICT) for social and economic development’.
