Danish Digital Growth Strategy 2025

Digital Growth Strategy 2025 is a comprehensive initiative launched by the Danish government in collaboration with various stakeholders. This strategy aims to foster the digital transformation processes on a national level and cultivate a highly skilled talent pool of professionals.

It consists of 6 pillars and 38 concrete initiatives designed to enhance Denmark’s position as a leading country in digital transformation and digital skills. Key objectives include improving digital skills from an early age, bridging skills mismatches in the labour market, and providing training for small and medium-sized enterprises to leverage emerging technologies.

Key proposed strategic initiatives include:

• A digital hub with a matchmaking platform to improve companies’ access to talents and competences within emerging digital technologies.
• A more agile regulation on companies’ opportunities to test new business models.
• Introducing computational thinking in elementary school.
• A digital solution for companies to report cybersecurity incidents.
