The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is an international human rights treaty intended to protect the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities. Some of the mentioned rights are the right to education, the right to vote and the right to health. Its aim is also to ensure their active participation in political, economic, social and cultural life.
