Benchmarking European youth into the digital age

Policy Reports

Benchmarking European youth into the the digital age is a report based on two Eurobarometer surveys – Flash 118 and Flash 119 – that provided an overview of the state of development of new technologies in schools in all EU Member States. The report is supported by graphs created for each survey indicator (e.g. Main locations for access to computers in EU schools that have computers in %, Change in average weekly hours of computer use). The conclusion that was drawn is that in 2001 there was a wide variety of situations and approaches regarding the development and usage patterns of computers and the Internet from one Member State to another.
