Kaarika Das

Ms Kaarika Das is a PhD candidate in Economics of Education at the National Institute of Education Planning and Administration in New Delhi. Her doctoral research focuses on measuring the returns of digital skills in non-tech-intensive job roles. She holds a Master's in Development and Labour Studies and a BA (Hons) in Economics. Kaarika is an alumna of the Internet Society, Net Mission Ambassadors programme, and the Asia Pacific School of Internet Governance. She was a founding organiser of the Youth India Internet Governance Forum 2018, and has been training ISOC Youth Ambassadors on Internet Governance since 2019. She joined the Digital Watch Observatory in late 2022 as a Knowledge Fellow and works on the economic basket.
