Trends in Converged Networks: Post-NGN, 4G and 5G Solutions

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in cooperation with the State Unievrsity of Telecommunications of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, will organise a workshop on 'Trends in Converged Networks: Post-NGN, 4G and 5G Solutions', on 17-18 November 2016, in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The workshop will be dedicated to discussions and sharing of good practices related to the implementation of modern telecom networks in the Commonwealth of Independent States, and Georgia. Specific issues to be addressed include: development of post-NGN networks; provided services and their quality; planning and optimisation of mobile networks; security in mobile networks; normative, legal, and economic aspects of 4G and 5G implementation; modern telecom equipment.

The event is addressed to representatives of: ministries, regulatory authorities, research and development organisations, telecom operators, academia, and other interested stakeholders from ITU member states.
