The national Internet Governance Forum of South Africa will be held on 22-23 September 2016, in Johannesburg. The meeting is convened by the Department of Telecommunications and Postal Services, in collaboration with ISOC-Gauteng, the South African Communications Forum, the Internet Service Providers' Association, Internet Exchange - South Africa, ZA Domain Name Authority, and ZA Central Registry.

The two-day event will feature discussions on topics such as: digital economy and e-commerce, Internet infrastructure and critical resources, inclusive development and digital transformation, open data, domain names, Internet and human rights, cybercrime, and network neutrality.
