InterCommunity 2016, the global meeting of Internet Society (ISOC) community, will be held on 21 September 2016. The event can be attended both on-site, at several interactive and viewing nodes around the world, as well as online.
The event will be offered in 3 global sessions:
- Global Session 1 - 08:00 - 10:00 UTC (friendly time for Asia Pacific)
- Global Session 2 - 13:00 - 15:00 UTC (friendly time for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East)

In addition to these global sessions, there will also be regional events starting two hours before each global session where discussions will focus on the regional character of the access, trust, security and Internet governance issues.
Through organising InterCommunity, the Internet Society aims to: gather the ISOC community for sharing, dialogue, and inspiration; highlight regional accomplishments; highlight the organisation's mission; celebrate the community and its work with reflection and fun; and provide ISOC members with a sense of belonging through opportunities to act.
