Global Commission on the Future of Work: Third Meeting

15 May 2018 to 17 May 2018
Geneva, Switzerland

The third meeting of the Global Commission on the Future of Work will be held on 15–17 May 2018 at the International Labour Organization (ILO) Headquarters in Genera, Switzerland.

The Global Commission was formed as part of ILO's 'Future of Work' initiative focused on identifying ways in which the organisation can respond to challenges posed by the changes in the world of work. The commission is tasked with developing a report on how to achieve a future of work that provides decent and sustainable opportunities for all. The report is to be submitted to the centenary session of the ILO in 2019.

The commission's work is organised around four 'centenary conversations':

  • work and society
  • decent jobs for all
  • organisation of work and production
  • governance of work

More information about the meeting will be forthcoming on the event webpage.
