The Apple-FBI debate and its implications on privacy and security was undoubtedly one of the main highlights this month. Developments are continuously unfolding against a backdrop of other Internet governance developments. What were the main updates in March, and how will they influence developments in the months to come? What can we expect? Join us for our next monthly briefing, on Tuesday, 29th March, for a round-up of the major global IG and digital policy developments.

You receive hundreds of pieces of information on digital politics.
We receive them, too.
We decode, contextualise, and analyse them.
Then we summarise them for you.

Every last Tuesday of the month, the Internet governance briefings provide a 'zoomed-out' update of the major global IG and digital policies developments. They are delivered live from Geneva (WMO Building, 2nd floor, 7 bis Avenue de la Paix), and broadcast online. Local hubs in Rio de Janeiro and Jakarta will share regional perspectives: the Rio hub will be hosted by the Center for Technology and Society of the Getulio Vargas Foundation School of Law, at Praia de Botafogo, 190, 13th floor; the Jakarta hub will be hosted at Sekretariat APJII Gedung Cyber 1 Lantai 11, Jl. Kuningan Barat No. 8, Jakarta Selatan 12710.

The Internet governance in March 2016 briefing takes place on Tuesday, 29th March, at 11:00 UTC (13:00 CET). Join us online, or in Geneva, or from any of the hubs; fill in the registration form to reserve your place.

The monthly Internet governance briefings are organised by the Geneva Internet Platform (GIP), an initiative supported by the Swiss authorities and operated by DiploFoundation.
