UNECE 7th session of the Group of Experts on drafting a new legal instrument on the use of automated vehicles in traffic

The UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is hosting the 7th session of the Group of Experts on drafting a new legal instrument on the use of automated vehicles in traffic (LIAV GE) in Geneva, Switzerland to take stock of the September 2023 session of the Global Forum for Road Traffic Safety (WP.1). In particular, the 7th LIAV GE will focus on the revision to its Terms of Reference made in light of the Inland Transport Committee's decision made in February 2023; it may also reconsider its Programme of Work based on the submission of France, Germany, and Sweden (ECE/TRANS/WP.1/GE.3/2023/5) and on Informal document No. 3 (GE.3-06-03) produced in the May 2023 session.
