UK Internet Governance Forum

17 Nov 2016

London, UK

The 2016 UK Internet Governance Forum (UK-IGF) will take place on 17 November, in London, UK.

The programme of the meeting will include keynotes and discussions on issues such as: the global policy landscape, Brexit and its impact on UK Internet policy, e-identification and privacy, the impact of the Internet on political debate, and the UK's cyber-preparedness.

The UK Internet Governance Forum is a collaborative partnership between Nominet, the UK Department for Culture, Media & Sport, key parliamentarians and other organisations taking a leading role in making the Internet a better place. Its aim is to provide a local forum in the UK that engages industry, government, parliament, academia and civil society in debate on Internet governance issues. The forum also encourages partnerships and coalitions that deliver solutions and demonstrate best practice for others to learn from.
