Swiss Internet Governance Forum 2018

Bern, Switzerland

This year, the Swiss Internet Governance Forum (IGF) will take place on 20 November in Bern, Switzerland. The Swiss IGF brings together stakeholder groups from politics, state administration, business, the scientific community and civil society in order to exchange ideas in an open, equitable, and interactive dialogue on the hot topics of digitisation such as cybersecurity, data economy, fake news, artificial intelligence, human rights online, and net neutrality. The Swiss IGF seeks to contribute to the open development of the Internet for the benefit of all. The Swiss Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) is currently performing the role of secretariat.

Call for Issues

Which topics should be discussed at the Swiss IGF 2018? The programme of the Swiss IGF is shaped via a call for issues. The topics to be discussed are not determined by the organisers top-down, but in a participatory bottom-up process by all interested participants. The deadline to submit proposals is 31 August 2018.
