Slovenian Internet Governance Forum 2017

The second annual meeting of the Slovenian Internet Governance Forum (SloIGF) will be held on 17 October 2017, in Ljubljana.

This year’s SloIGF will feature discussions on issues related to open technologies and open society, countering online extremism and ensuring human rights and freedom in the digital space, and privacy and security for the future of the Internet. The meeting will be opened by Dr Milan Brglez, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, and will also welcome representatives of the Internet Society, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), and the South Eastern European Dialogue on Internet Governance (SEEDIG).

SloIGF will also serve as a kick-off meeting for the 2018 SEEDIG meeting, to be held in spring 2018, in Slovenia.
