The 5th edition of Singapore International Cyber Week 2020 (SICW) – the region’s most established cybersecurity event – is poised once again to be the ideal marketplace to discuss, network, strategise and form partnerships in the cybersecurity space. Bringing together prominent global policy makers, thought leaders and industry experts, the event is the choice platform to advance knowledge exchanges on key cybersecurity issues and solutions. It is a week where governments, industry, and academia converge, bringing together elements such as international law, cyber norms of behaviour, and capacity building efforts that make up a secure, trusted and resilient cyberspace.

Taking place from 5 to 9 October 2020, the theme for SICW 2020 is “Co-operation in a Post-COVID Future”. The future of cybersecurity is tightly connected to the future of digital technology and the advancements of the cyberspace. The COVID-19 pandemic has shown how important digital capabilities are to all nations in ensuring that essential services, effective governance and communications can continue in a highly disrupted environment. At the same time, it has emboldened malicious and opportunistic adversaries to accelerate and increase their attacks on individuals, public and the private sectors.
