re:publica Accra

The first edition of re:publica Accra is co-organised by the Impact Hub Accra and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and will take place on December 14-15 in Accra, Ghana.

re:publica Accra aims to be a critical reflection of digital developments and a get-together of some of the brightest minds on the continent.

The event will address all the ways digitisation is changing societies, from its impact on politics, media, and social services, to the ways it is changing arts, culture, business, and science. The question, 'How can we all contribute to shaping the digital future we want?' will also be addressed.

The broad range of topics include: Next level ideas to create access; advocation for digital rights; use of tech for good; next level data usage; waste management; business strategies; and gender equality.
