ITU-T SG20: Internet of things (IoT) and smart cities and communities (SC&C)

The meeting of the ITU-T Study Group 20 (SG20) on Internet of things (IoT) and smart cities and communities (SC&C) will take place from 30 January until 10 February at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva, Switzerland.

The event will allow remote participation. However, decisions will be taken by those physically present in the Plenary meeting in Geneva.

Study Group 20 aims to solve the standardisation requirements of internet of things (IoT) technology with a focus on IoT applications in smart cities and communities. Creating standards that leverage IoT technology to address issues with urban development is a core part of SG20's activity.
