ITU Regional Development Forum Asia and the Pacific Region 2020
The ITU’s Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific annually convenes its member states and stakeholders in the Information Communication Technology (ICT) sector to identify the emerging priorities for digital connectivity and facilitate information sharing of strategies and partnerships that contribute to work plan of the World Telecommunication Development Conferences (WTDCs). The regional development forum (RDF) goes virtual this year.
The week-long event provides an opportunity for high-level dialogue between the ITU, policymakers from its member states, the private sector, and other UN agencies, covering topics ranging from ICT regulations to cyber-safety, affordable ICT connectivity, cross-sectoral collaboration to foster digital development and achieve SDGs, etc.
