Internet governance: past, present, future

Chaired by Benedikt Wechsler, Ph.D., Diplomatic Advisor e-diplomacy and think tanks, Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland with the participation of Mary Wong, Senior Policy Director, Internet Corporation for Assignes Names and Numbers (ICANN), Konstantinos Komaitis, Policy Advisor, Internet Society and Jovan Kurbalija, founding director of DiploFoundation, the panel will discuss the past, present, and future of internet governance. The panel debate is organised in the course of University of Geneva Internet l@w summer school 2014, which offers a unique chance to learn and engage with experts from renowned institutions, including Harvard’s Berkman Center, Internet Society, UN bodies, and global companies like eBay and Google. The program covers various Internet law topics, providing hands-on experience through an Internet law clinic and interactions with global regulators.
