Internet Governance Forum Netherlands 2017

The 2017 annual meeting of the Internet Governance Forum Netherlands (NL IGF) will take place on 10 October 2017, in The Hague, Netherlands. The event is being organised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Foundation for Internet Domain Registration in the Netherlands (SIND), and the Platform for the Information Society (ECP).

Under the theme ‘Shape your digital future!’, NL IGF will convene Internet stakeholders and public interest groups in the Netherlands to address various issues including, inter alia, blockchain governance, cyber diplomacy, Internet shutdowns, and fake news. Structured as parallel workshops, the event will promote a participant-driven agenda and open dialogue.

NL IGF is a multistakeholder platform for sharing knowledge and experiences, and discussing Internet policy challenges. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the NL IGF Steering Committee via nligf@ecp.nl to suggest themes and/or conduct a workshop.
