International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners

The 40th International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners will be held on 22–26 October 2018, in Brussels, Belgium. The conference will be hosted by the European Data Protection Supervisor and the Commission for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The conference will focus on the issue of digital ethics, and will explore aspects related to the need for technological developments to be aligned with human values, and individual and human dignity. The event aims to address these issues by facilitating and open and transparent dialogue at global level, and across different disciplines, on digital ethics.
