Hybrid threats: Strengthening resilience against this phenomenon

Organised by the UN Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) in partnership with the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), this event will explore the phenomenon of hybrid threats, examining their main types and impacts.

Discussions will cover the evolving forms of hybrid threats, including cyberattacks, malicious use of digital and space technologies, disinformation, and ‘grey zone’ tactics, as well as their effects on individuals, societies, states, and international security. The event will also highlight measures and best practices to strengthen societal and state resilience against these threats.
