Global Forum on Cyber Expertise Annual Meeting 2018
The 2018 annual meeting of the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE) will be held on 19–20 September, in Singapore.
The meeting will bring together participants representing national governments, international organisations, and private entities, to discuss current and future cyber capacity building activities.
The GFCE has been established to share experiences, identify gaps, and complement existing efforts in cyber capacity building. The GFCE makes technical expertise and new funding streams available in the fields of cybersecurity, cybercrime, data protection, and e-governance. By matching supply and demand, countries that lack knowledge in certain cyber areas can benefit from the expertise that will be provided by countries, intergovernmental organisations, and companies with more experience in those cyber matters. The GFCE was officially launched at the Global Conference on Cyberspace 2015 in the Netherlands. All members adopted the 'The Hague Declaration' that emphasises the need for more capacity building, exchange of best practices and strengthened international co-operation.
More information regarding the 2018 annual meeting will be made available on the forum's website.|full_html
