Digitalisation and blending of training programmes

The International Labour Organization (ILO) will host an online presentation to launch a new practical guide on the digitalisation and blending of training programmes, on 25 May 2025.

As part of its efforts to support flexible, inclusive, and future-oriented training systems, the ILO has developed this resource for training providers, educators, and skills development practitioners. The guide introduces a six-step framework for implementing blended learning approaches and includes practical examples drawn from different sectors and regions.

During the one-hour session, participants will receive an overview of the guide’s content, explore pedagogical and technological considerations, and hear from contributors involved in its development. The event reflects the ILO’s broader commitment to equipping institutions and professionals with tools to adapt training models to the evolving demands of the labour market.

The session will be delivered online and is open to stakeholders interested in the future of education and training in the context of digital transformation.
