Digital Innovation Hubs Working Group Meeting on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence

The Digital Innovation Hubs Working Group (DIHs) Meeting on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence will take place at the Square-Brussels Meeting Center in Brussels on 7 November.

DIHs supports the implementation of the Digitising European Industry initiative. The new meeting of the working group will focus on the sectors of big data and artificial intelligence (AI), and their applications to boost the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The two main expectations of the meeting are:

• Collecting input for defining Big Data Innovation Hubs in the upcoming open call DT-ICT-05 of Horizon 2020 (work programme for the year 2020).
• Contributing to the definition, role and implementation of the DIHs concept in the upcoming EU programmes, Digital Europe, and Horizon Europe.

The targeted audience of the event is representatives of existing initiatives related to big data, robotics, and AI; the ecosystem of users (SMEs, start-ups, data and AI innovators); and other relevant stakeholders (government, investors).
