Conference on Global Internet Governance Actors, Regulations, Transactions and Strategies 2023

The Seventh European Multidisciplinary Conference on Global Internet Governance Actors, Regulations, Transactions and Strategies (GIG-ARTS) will take place on 15-16 May 2023 in Padova, Italy.

The conference will be organised by the Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies (SPGI), University of Padova, Italy. In addition to broad internet governance challenges and topics, this year’s conference focuses on cybersecurity governance and related issues, and it will be held under the theme ‘The Governance of Cybersecurity: Resilience, Human Rights and Democracy’.

GIG-ARTS is a project of the French National Research Agency (ANR) under the MRSEI programme, designed as an incentive to increase the number of EC H2020 projects coordinated by French academics. The GIG-ARTS project aims at preparing an EC H2020 proposal on Actors, Regulations, Transactions and Strategies in Global Internet Governance, under the Societal Challenge “Europe in a changing world – inclusive, innovative and reflective societies”.
