APRICOT 2018/APNIC 45

The annual meeting of the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Conference on Operational Technologies (APRICOT), in conjunction with the 45th meeting of the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), will be held on 19–28 February 2018 in Kathmandu, Nepal. Internet Exchange Nepal (npIX) will host the event. 

The event is open to Internet engineers, networking experts, government representatives, Internet business leaders, researchers, Internet service providers (ISPs), policy communities, and other interested parties from around the world.

Workshops will run from 19 to 23 February, while the conference will run from 25 to 28 February. APNIC’s first hackathon will also take place from 23 to 25 February. As usual, APNIC’s first of its biannual meetings will be held as a track of APRICOT. Sessions will address, inter alia, network management and monitoring, IPv4/IPv6 routing, network security, virtualisation and cloud, and the Internet of Things (IoT) and wireless sensor networks.
