Accessible Europe: ICT 4 All Forum 2023

The 'Accessible Europe: ICT 4 ALL' forum is set to take place on 13-14 December 2023 in Madrid, Spain. The Forum is a regional event jointly organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the European Commission (EC), with the co-organisation support of the AccessibleEU Resource Centre. its primary objective is to advocate for digital inclusion and accessibility across Europe.

The year's edition will be hosted by Fundación ONCE, supported by the Government of Spain, as part of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The forum serves as a platform for policymakers, industry players, and other stakeholders to discuss global and regional trends in digital inclusion, as well as to clarify terminologies and indicate how to ensure that digital products and services are accessible to all, including those with disabilities. Its primary goal is to address the importance of accessible ICTs and to foster an inclusive digital society in the European region.

The forum assembles a group of experts to explore the areas where accessibility gaps persist and identify what best practices can be replicated for broader impact.
