The 85th Convention on the Rights of the Child

The Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) 85 online limited session was held between 14 September - 01 October 2020.

The committee held twelve meetings during which it discussed the list of questions, including the pre-reporting questions. The Committee adopted eighteen decisions in relation to twenty individual communications, and a follow-up report on individual communications.  Of the 18 decisions, the Committee found violations in six decisions against Spain, Denmark, and Switzerland. The eighty-sixth session of the Committee will be held from 18 January - 6 February 2021.
