2nd annual event of the OECD Global Forum on Digital Security for Prosperity

14 Nov 2019 - 15 Nov 2019

London, United Kingdom

The 2nd annual event of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Global Forum on Digital Security for Prosperity will take place on 14-15 November 2019 in London, United Kingdom. The forum brings together experts and policymakers to foster regular sharing of experiences and good practices on digital security risks and their management, as well as mutual learning and convergence of views on digital security for economic and social prosperity.

Thematic events will be held involving policymakers, as well as experts from stakeholder groups, and will influence international public policy discussions, which could lead to policy recommendations both at the OECD and at other international fora. This is the second session of this forum, with the inaugural event taking place in 2018 in Paris, France. This meeting will continue explorations of the roles and responsibilities of actors, the governance of digital security in organisations, and security of digital technologies.

The main theme for this year’s forum is ‘Encouraging digital security innovation’, which is an increasingly important topic for policymakers to develop ecosystems that allow digital security startups to thrive.
