28th Annual FIRST Conference

The Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), a recognised global leader in incident response, has announced its 28th Annual Conference, which takes place on 12-18 June in Seoul, South Korea. FIRST is an international confederation of trusted computer incident response teams who cooperatively handle computer security incidents and promote incident prevention programmes. FIRST is designed to facilitate global communication between incident response and security teams to assist in promoting prompt and effective resolution to computer security incidents.

Topics under discussion at this year’s conference range from threat intelligence sharing and detecting targeted web compromises, to the missing links between cybercrime gangs and the dark side of online advertisements. Each day of the conference will open with a keynote from an expert in information technology and cybersecurity.
