15th Caribbean Internet Governance Forum

The 15th Caribbean Internet Governance Forum (IGF) is being organised by the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat and will be held on 2-3 May 2019 in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

The Caribbean IGF is a regional, multistakeholder forum initiated to co-ordinate a regional approach to Internet governance. This year's forum will be held under the theme of Planning and Sustaining the Future Development of Caribbean Internet Governance.

Highlights of the forum's work include the formulation of a Caribbean Internet Governance Policy Framework; the proliferation of Internet exchange points (IXPs); capacity building in IG Principles and best practices; and growth in Caribbean influence in international IG fora.
